CUET UG 2024 Result: 22,920 Students Achieve Full Marks, Business Studies Tops With 8,024 Scorers

CUET UG 2024 result has been declared and this year, 22,920 candidates scored full marks across 45 subjects.

CUET UG 2024 Result Declared: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday declared the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG results. This year, 22,920 candidates scored full marks across 45 subjects in CUET UG 2024. Business Studies had the highest number of full marks scorers with 8,024. Political Science followed with 5,141, History with 2,520, English with 1,683, and Psychology with 1,602.

The General test recorded the highest number of participants with 7,09,066 students appearing for the exam but only 1 student scored full marks.

In total, 63 subjects (33 languages, 29 Domain-Specific Subjects, and One General Test) were offered to the candidates in the CUET UG 2024. Two new subjects Fashion Studies and Tourism were added for the first time.

This year, the NTA did not disclose the number of hundredth percentiles for each subject. In contrast, last year saw 22,836 hundredth percentile scores, an increase from 21,159 in 2022.

The CUET UG examination was conducted on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, and 24, 2024 across 379 cities. For 15 subjects, the tests were in the pen-paper mode and for the other 48 subjects, the exam was held in computer test-based mode. Over 13.4 lakh candidates registered and 11,13,610 appeared for the test.

A Central Control Room was opened to monitor and facilitate the smooth conduct of the Examination on the ground. 397 City Coordinators, 3240 Observers, 28 Deputy Observers, and 35 Virtual Observers were deployed. The entrance exam was conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in 283 central, state, deemed and private universities.
