The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has declared the results for the Class 12 Higher Secondary examination today, June 6, 2023. Students can check their Assam AHSEC HS Result 2023 on the official websites- ahsec.assam.gov.in and resultsassam.nic.in. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated students and said in a tweet, "My congratulations and best wishes to all the successful candidates in the HS examination. For those who could not do well this time, remember ~ We always have the power to work harder to achieve success. Do not give up. There is always a new beginning."

To access their Assam AHSEC HS Scorecard 2023, students will need to enter their roll number. It is advisable for students to keep their roll number readily available to avoid any inconvenience while retrieving their results. Students are advised to carefully review their results and save a digital copy or printout of their scorecards for future reference. If there are any discrepancies or queries, they should contact the relevant authorities according to the AHSEC guidelines.
The AHSEC 12th Board Exams for the year 2023 took place from February 20 to March 20, 2023. The exams were conducted in two shifts: Shift 1 was held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, while Shift 2 took place from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
In the previous year, the Assam Class 12th board examination saw a total of 2.15 lakh candidates appearing for the exams. Among these candidates, the highest number of students, around 1.64 lakh, appeared from the arts stream. The science stream had the second-highest number of candidates with around 34,401 students, and the commerce stream had around 15,581 candidates.
No 10th Board Exams From Next Year: Assam CM
The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that there will be no board examinations for Class 10 students starting from the next academic year in 2024. The decision aligns with the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Instead, matric exams will be conducted solely at the school level. Furthermore, a new educational board will be established in Assam.
