The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) has started the registration process for Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2023. Candidates who have cleared the NEET UG 2023 Exam and wish to take admissions into MBBS degree offered by various medical colleges across Gujarat can register for the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2023 online, on the official website - medadmgujarat.org. Candidates may also note that the last date to register for the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2023 is July 24, till 05:00 PM. 

As per the official schedule, the document verification for the counselling following the closure of the registration window, will be done from July 17 to July 25, 2023. Once the registrations and document verification of candidates is done, the ACPUGMEC will then release a merit list of shortlisted candidates for admissions. Those shortlisted candidates in the merit list will then be required to fill in their college preferences and choices online. The final seat allocation to be candidates shall be done according to the preferences made by candidates, their performance in the NEET examination, and the availability of seats in the preferred college. 

Notably, earlier this year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET UG 2023 Exam on May 7, 2023, in the offline pen and paper mode at over 499 exam centres across the country and abroad. The exam was held in a single shift across the country from 02:00 Pm to 05:20 PM. Over 20 lakh candidates reportedly appeared for the exam. Following the conduct of the NEET UG Exam, the NTA released the NEET UG 2023 Result on June 13, 2023. 

As the next step towards their undergraduate medical admission, candidates who have cleared the NEET UG 2023 Exam will be required to appear for counseling processes held by individual states as well as the centralised MCC (Medical Counselling Committe) Counselling. After the announcement of NEET UG 2023 Results, several states have started the counselling process for NEET UG 2023. On July 14, the MCC also released the dates for the MCC Counselling for NEET UG 2023 for the 15% All India Quota Seats.
