'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024': PM Modi To Address And Interact With Exam Warriors Today

The Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 has received a record-breaking 2.26 crore student registrations in its seventh iteration which will be held at the Bharat Mandapam for the first time.

Attention all exam warriors! Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) is back with its 2024 edition, and Prime Minister Modi will address and interact with exam warriors today, January 29, 2024. The stage is all set and the seventh edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha will be held at the Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event will start from 11:00 am, and students from all the country will be able to tune in to the PPC 2024 broadcast on the Doordarshan network through DD National, DD News, and DD India. 

Parents, teachers, and Students from classes 6 to 12 from CBSE Board, State Boards, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navoday Vidyalayas, and EkLavya Model Schools will participate in PPC 2024. Notably, this would be the first time that the Pariksha Pe Charcha will be held at the Bharat Mandapam, which was built exclusively to hold the G20 Summit earlier last year in New Delhi under India’s G20 Presidency. 

Compared to 38.8 lakh registrations for the PPC 2023, the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 has witnessed a record registrations of 2.26 crore students from across the country. More than 3,000 participants would take part in the PPC 2024 for the first time. Furthermore, two students and a teacher from each state and union territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav, have also been invited for the PPC 2024. Also, a hundred students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) will be attending the Pariksha Pe Charcha event for the first time.

In the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024, PM Modi will also be interacting with over 2,050 students selected students from across the country will attend the event. The students have been selected on the basis of an online MCQ competition organized online on the MyGov platform on December 11, and 12, 2024. The selected candidates will also be receiving Pariksha Pe Charcha kits which would include Exam Warriors book in Hindi and English authored by Narendra Modi, as well as a certificates. 

What started in the year 2018, the Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the larger movement - ‘Exam Warriors’ - led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The interactive and motivational event is aimed at helping students combat exam stress, instilling them with confidence to take on the exams, and help them with tips to overcome their examination challenges. 

As a precursor to the PPC 2024, several events and programmes were also organised at school level across the country from January 11 to 12. These programmes included joyful learning activities like  marathon run,  music competition, meme competition, nukkad natak, student-anchor-Student-guest discussions, etc. On the final day, January 23, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, a Painting Competition shall be organized in 500 districts across the country.
