 NVS Recruitment 2019: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released a notification to fill 251 Teaching and Non-Teaching posts have been released in the employment news. NVS is inviting applications for various Group A, B, C posts including Principal, Post Graduate Teacher, Assistant Commissioner, Assistant and Computer Operator. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is scheduled to commence the NVS Recruitment 2019 application process on Tuesday, 15^th January 2019 next week on its official website – navodaya.gov.in. The closing date of the recruitment window is Thursday, 14^th February 2019. NVS Recruitment 2019 – Vacancy Details: A total of 28 Group A posts, 218 Group B posts and 5 Group C posts have been notified as mentioned below: Principal (Group-A) – 25 vacancies Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) (Group-B) – 218 vacancies Assistant Commissioner (Administration) (Group-A) – 3 vacancies Assistant (Group-C) – 2 vacancies Computer Operator (Group-C) – 3 vacancies Important Dates: Online Application Process Begins – 15^th January 2019 Online Application Process Ends – 14^th February 2019 Payment of Application Fee – 15^th January to 15^th February 2019 Admit Card Download Begins – 10^th March 2019 Written Test – Last week of March 2019 Academic Qualification: Principal (Group-A) The applicant must possess Master’s Degree from recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate; B. Ed or equivalent teaching degree along with desirable experience as mentioned in the official advertisement. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) (Group-B) The applicant must have passed Two Year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and relevant experience. Assistant Commissioner (Administration) (Group-A) The applicant must be a Graduate from a recognized University. S/he must be holding analogous post on regular basis or must have 8 years’ service in Level 7. Assistant (Group-C) The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institution/University along with 3 years’ experience in administrative, financial matters in Central Government/ Autonomous organization under the Central Govt and knowledge of computer operations. Computer Operator (Group-C) The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institution/University besides the requisite skill in word-processing & data entry with a one year Computer Diploma from a recognized Institution. Selection Process: NVS will shortlist the candidates on the basis of a written examination, followed by Interview.
