NEET UG 2021: NTA Changes Exam Pattern, Gives Option Of Internal Choice In Questions

NEET UG 2021: The application process for NEET-UG 2021 has started. At the same time, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the exam pattern of NEET-UG 2021.

NEET UG 2021: The registration process for NEET-UG 2021 has started on July 13. Interested candidates can apply till 11.50 pm on 6th August. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the exam pattern of NEET-UG 2021.

There are 2 sections in the exam pattern:

This year the exam pattern consists of 2 sections. There will be 2 sections in each subject. Section A will have 35 questions, and Section B will have 15 questions. The entire paper will be of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Candidates should note that out of 15 questions in Section B, only 10 questions will have to be attempted. In such a situation, only 180 questions out of 200 will be solved.

Each question will carry 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted under negative marking for a wrong answer. The maximum marks will be 720 like last year.

NEET 2021 Registration will be done in 2 phases:

Students will have to register for NEET 2021 in two phases. - The first set of information has to be filled before the last date of submission of the online application form. - The second set of forms will have to be filled by the candidates before the declaration of result / downloading the scorecard. - In the second set, the candidates will have to provide the details of the information given in the first set.

Age limit:

There is no change in the age limit of the candidates who have applied for the medical entrance exam. To register for NEET-UG 2021, candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years from the date of examination, in which the SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL category and candidates belonging to PWD will get a relaxation of 5 years.

Admit cards will be issued 3 days before the exam.

The registration process for NEET-UG 2021 will be conducted from July 13 to August 6. Admit cards will be issued 3 days before the examination. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form from August 8 to August 12. Fees can be paid through credit/debit card/net banking/UPI/Paytm wallet till August 7. NEET-UG 2021 will be conducted on 12 September.
