NEET Phase 2: The registration process of NEET Phase 2 closes. Now the National Testing Agency will issue the provisional answer key, which candidates will be allowed to challenge.
NEET Phase 2 Registration 2021: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) phase 2 registration process ended at 11:50 pm last night. National Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted the NEET registration process in two phases. NEET 2021 phase 1 information was to be filled before the examination and NEET Phase 2 application had to be filled before the declaration of NEET 2021 results. In the next process, NTA will issue the provisional answer key of NEET 2021.
NTA, within a stipulated date, will issue the provisional answer key of NEET 2021. Students will be given a window to challenge the answer key. NEET 2021 final answer key will be prepared after considering objections made by students and NEET 2021 result will be based on the final answer key. NTA, on its official website, will display students' OMR response sheets and question papers. Candidates should note that NTA will cancel the candidature for students who had failed to fill NEET 2021 application form for both stages.
NEET UG 2021 Tie-breaking Process
NEET UG 2021 results will be prepared by NTA. If two or more students get the same marks or percentage then merit will be determined by the tie-breaking process. This process ranks students in this order:
- Students who have obtained higher marks in Biology (Botany and Zoology)
- Then come students who got higher marks in Chemistry
- And lastly, candidates with the least number of incorrect answers in all subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
