NEET 2019 Application Correction Window live, Know what can be changed?

NEET 2019 Application Correction window will be live from today i.e. Wednesday 14th January 2019 till 31st January 2019 on the official website of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) – ntaneet.nic.in.

NEET 2019 Application Correction window will be live from today i.e. Wednesday 14th January 2019 till 31st January 2019 on the official website of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) – ntaneet.nic.in. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to organize NEET (UG) 2019 on Sunday, 5th May 2019 across the country for medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) aspirants, registrations for which were concluded last month. Candidates who had registered successfully can login to their profiles on the above mentioned website using their Application Number and Password and go through their submitted application forms thoroughly to make corrections (if required). Candidates must note that this is just a One-Time Correction Window, thereby, they will not be able to make any changes on whatsoever ground for NEET (UG) 2019 post the closing date of correction window. Candidates will be able to make changes to the following fields: Parents Name: Candidates will be able to modify the names of their parents viz Father’s name and Mother’s name, besides other personal information. Date of Birth & Gender: Applicants who had used their passport number, ration card number or bank account number, etc i.e. any ID other than Aadhaar ID will be able to modify their Date of Birth and Gender in the NEET (UG) 2019 Application Form. This option will not be available for applicants who had filled their Identification ID as Aadhaar ID at the time of registration. Identification Identity: Candidates who had used an Identification ID other than Aadhaar ID, viz passport number, ration card number, bank account number or Aadhaar enrolment number will be able to add their Aadhaar ID or the Aadhaar enrolment number. This option will not be available for applicants who had already submitted their Aadhaar ID besides NRI, OCI, PCI, & foreigner category candidates. State Codes of Eligibility: Applicants can make changes to the State Codes of Eligibility provided they are able to input their Aadhaar ID or Aadhaar enrolment number. This option will be available to all including candidate of Assam, Meghalaya & Jammu and Kashmir. Category / Disability: Candidates will be able to change their category and disability status, provided they are able to support it with the requisite certificate (if needed). If the change in category and disability status puts the candidate in higher exam fee bracket, then they need to pay the difference. Qualifying Examination Code & Class 12th Percentage: Candidates can modify their qualifying examination code and percentage marks in Class 12th examination. Medium of Question Paper: Applicants can choose a different medium of question paper than they had originally selected while submitting their application form. Candidates can refer to all regional languages in which NEET (UG) 2019 will be conducted and select the one they are most proficient in. Candidates must note that changing their medium of question paper may change their examination center/city too. Examination Center: Candidates will be able to modify their preference of examination center.
