Registered candidates can check the JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2023 on the official website using their JEE Main Application Number and Password.

The Joint Seat Allotment Authority (JoSAA) has released the 3rd round seat allotment of the JoSAA Counselling 2023. Candidates who applied for undergraduate engineering admissions in the 3rd JoSAA Counselling round 2023 can now check their seat allotment results on the official website - josaa.nic.in. To check their seat allotment result, candidates will be required to login to the official website using their credentials like application number and password. Following the release of JoSAA third round seat allotment result, candidates who have been allotted seats will be required to respond to some queries raised by the respective institute in which they have been allotted seats.

Moreover, it is mandatory for all candidates allotted seats in the counselling to exercise one of the three options: Freeze, Float or Slide. If a candidate chooses the ‘Freeze’ option, it implies that the candidate is happy with the seat allocation, and accepts the seat. The ‘Float’ option implies that the candidate wishes to move to a different institute or program from his preferences, while the ‘Slide’ option means that the candidate wishes to get a better course in the institute. Candidates must note that if they fail to exercise the aforementioned actions against their JoSAA seat allotment, their candidature shall be rejected, and such candidates would not be considered for the further counselling/admission processes either.

Candidates may further note that they will be required to pay a fee of Rs 35,000 as fee to confirm their seats, and also upload their relevant documents before the said deadline. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, General-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD categories will be required to pay a fee of Rs 15,000.

Also, candidates who haven’t been allotted seats in the JoSAA counselling can also choose the ‘exit’ option and withdraw their participation from the JoSAA counselling 2023. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the counselling can also withdraw themselves from the counselling, if they do not wish to take admission. In this case, any fee paid by such candidates shall be refunded, after the deduction of processing charges.
