The West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission (WBMSC) has released the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2024 admit cards for the 7th State Level Selection Test (SLST). Applicants who have enrolled for the recruitment examination can download their WBMSC TET admit cards for 2024 through the official website at wbmsc.com. The scheduled date for the WBMSC TET 2024 exam is January 28. The recruitment initiative aims to fill 1,729 positions for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate teachers across Classes 1 to 12 in both non-government and government-aided Madrasahs in West Bengal.

To download the WBMSC TET admit card 2024, candidates can follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website at wbmsc.com.
  • On the homepage, locate and click on the "WBMSC TET Admit Card 2024" link.
  • Provide your login credentials, such as registration number and password.
  • Download the WBMSC TET admit card for 2024.
  • It is advisable to take a printout of the admit card for future reference.

WBMSC TET Selection Process:

The selection process for WBMSC TET recruitment 2024 involves an initial OMR-based test in the preliminary stage. Successful candidates in the preliminary round will proceed to the main exam, and subsequently, an interview. The interview invitations will be extended based on the marks obtained in the main examination. The number of candidates invited for interviews will be 1.5 times the total number of final vacancies in the respective subject and category. Notably, the marks secured in the preliminary exam will not be taken into account for compiling the final merit list of WBMSC TET 2024.

WBMSC TET Exam Pattern:

The WBMSC TET 2024 exam pattern is as follows:

  1. OMR Based Preliminary Test:

    • Total Marks: 150
    • Sections: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Arabic, and Environmental Studies
    • Marks per Section: 30
    • Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
    • Passing Criteria: Candidates need to score a minimum of 60% to pass the preliminary exam.
  2. Main Exam:

    • Total Marks: 90
    • Questions: Based on the concerned subject
    • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
