SSC MTS Recruitment 2024: Registration Ends Tomorrow On ssc.gov.in, Apply For 8,326 Vacancies

SSC MTS Recruitment 2024: Interested candidates can fill out the application form through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

SSC MTS Recruitment 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration window for the recruitment of various (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) for the 2024 examination tomorrow, July 31, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for SSC MTS 2024 recruitment through the official website at ssc.gov.in, until 11 PM. The commission will open the SSC MTS application correction window on August 16, 2024. Successfully registered candidates can make changes to their SSC MTS 2024 application forms through the correction window.

The SSC MTS application correction window will remain open until August 17, 2024. The SSC MTS 2024 exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in October-November 2024 in a computer-based test mode. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 8,326 vacancies, including 4,887 MTS posts and 3,439 Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN.

SSC MTS, Havaldar Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the SSC MTS and Havaldar posts, aspirants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
  • Age Requirements:
    • MTS: 18-25 years
    • Havaldar: 18-27 years
  • Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed the Matriculation Examination (or an equivalent) from a recognised board.

SSC MTS Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. However, women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are exempted from paying the fee.

SSC MTS, Havaldar 2024: Step-By-Step Guide To Apply

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to the "Apply" tab on the homepage and click on the "Apply Online" link to generate a One Time Registration (OTR) if not already done.

Step 3: For OTR, provide basic information such as name, age, Aadhaar Number, father's name, date of birth, and other required details.

Step 4: Upon completing the personal details, you will receive a registration number and password on your registered email ID or phone number.

Step 5: Use your registration number and password to fill out the application form and pay the application fee of Rs. 100. 

Step 6: Upload the necessary documents.

Step 7: Submit the application form.

Step 8: Download the confirmation page.
