SSC CHSL 2023 Registration Ends Tomorrow For 1600 Vacancies, Here's How To Apply
SSC CHSL 2023 Application window will be closed tomorrow, June 8.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the online application process for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination or CHSL 2023 tomorrow. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination through the official website - ssc.nic.in. The deadline for online fee payment is June 10. Moreover, candidates will have the chance to make modifications to their application forms on June 14 and 15. The Tier-I (Computer-Based Examination) of the SSC CHSL 2023 is scheduled to take place from August 2 to 22. The specific schedule for Tier II will be announced at a later date.
The SSC CHSL exam aims to recruit candidates for Group C positions, including Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India, as well as Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals, among others. This year, around 1600 posts have been tentatively notified by the Commission.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification: Applicants should have passed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. The candidate must possess the required qualification on or before the cut-off date, which is August 1, 2023.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old as of August 1, 2023. The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Selection Process:
The selection process for SSC CHSL consists of two parts:
- Tier-I: It is a Computer-Based Examination comprising objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- Tier-II: This stage includes a Skill Test/Typing Test.
The merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance of candidates in the Tier-II Examination.
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 100. However, women, SC, ST, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee.
