Rozgar Mela: PM Modi To Distribute Over 51,000 Appointment Letters On November 30

PM Modi will distribute the appointment letters and address the newly recruited personnel through video-conferencing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited personnel of various government departments on November 30, 2023. PM Modi will distribute the appointment letters and address the newly inducted employees through video conferencing, as per a statement from his office. As part of the Rozgar Mela, the appointment letter distribution event will be held at 37 different locations across the country. Through the recruitment drive, new recruits will be inducted in various departments of the central government, state governments, and Union Territories, who are supporting this initiative, the PM’s office said. 

The new appointees will be joining the revenue, home affairs, higher education, school education and literacy, financial services, defence, health and family welfare, and labour and employment departments, among others. "Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfillment of the commitment of the prime minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. It is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development," news agency PTI quoted the official statement as saying.

The statement was further reported as saying that the newly appointed personnel will add to the strengthening of the industrial, economic and social development of the nation through their innovative ideas and role-related competencies, and thereby helping realise PM Modi’s idea of developed India. 

All the newly inducted recruits will also be getting an opportunity to train and upskill themselves through the 'Karmayogi Prarambh' portal, the statement added. The Karmayogi Prarambh is an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal with a collection of over 800 e-learning courses designed in a learning format that can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and from any device, it further added.
