SSC CPO Recruitment 2023: Registrations For Sub-Inspector In Delhi Police, CAPFs Begin On ssc.nic.in

Candidates can apply for the SSC CPO Recruitment 2023 till August 15, 2023.

 

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the application process for the SSC CPO Recruitment 2023. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear for the SSC CPO Exam 2023 can register for the exam online on the official website - ssc.nic.in. Notably, the SSC is conducting the SSC CPO Recruitment 2023 to shortlist suitable candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces). The SSC notified the SSC CPO 2023 registration process through an official notification on its website. 

While applying though, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of application fee. “The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Government strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply,” reads the official notification. 

SSC CPO Recruitment 2023: Application Deadline 

The online application process for the recruitment is underway, and candidates can submit their registration cum application forms for the recruitment till August 15, 2023, till (11:00 PM). Following the closure of the online application window, registered candidates will also be able to correct their applications from August 16 to 17, till 11:00 PM). The online examination for the recruitment is scheduled to be held in October 2023. The exact dates and schedule of the examination and further recruitment process is expected to be announced by the commission, after the closure of the online application process.

SSC CPO Recruitment 2023: Vacancies

Notably, the SSC is conducting the SSC CPO Recruitment 2023 to fill a total of 333 vacancies for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Male, Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Female, Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs. Among the total vacancies, 109 vacancies are for Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Male, 54 for Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Female, and 171 for Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs. However, candidates must note that this is the tentative list of vacancies as of now, and the final list of vacancies for the aforementioned posts may change. 

SSC CPO Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

For all the posts under the recruitment, candidates who have completed their bachelors degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply. Moreover, interested candidates must be aged between 20-25 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2003 to be eligible to apply.   • Visit the official website - ssc.nic.in
  • On the homepage, register on the SSC portal
  • Login to the portal again
  • In the new page that opens, click on the Apply button ‘Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination, 2023’ 
  • Fill in the application form with all required details and relevant documents
  • Pay the application fee online
  • Submit the application
  • Download the application confirmation page for reference
