Delhi Police, CAPF Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2024: Apply For 4,187 Posts On ssc.gov.in

Interested candidates will be able to apply for the SSC Delhi Police, CAPF SI Recruitment 2024 till March 28, 2024.

The Staff Selection Commission, SSC, has started the registration process for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces), Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment drive can submit their registration cum application forms for the recruitment on the official website - ssc.gov.in. At the time of submitting applications for the recruitment, candidates will also be required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, female candidates and those from the SC, ST, AND Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee. 

SSC Delhi Police, CAPF SI Recruitment 2024: Last Date To Apply

The last date to apply for the SSC Delhi Police, CAPFs SI Recruitment 2024 is March 28, 2024. Registered candidates, though, will be able to pay the application fee for the recruitment till March 29, 2024. Following the closure of the application window for the recruitment, candidates will also be able to make changes to their applications from March 30 to March 31, 2204 (till 11:00) pm.

SSC Delhi Police, CAPF SI Recruitment 2024: Vacancies

Notably, the SSC is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 4,187 vacancies for the posts of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs including BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP and SSB. The recruitment drive aims to fill both male and female sub-inspectors through the recruitment drive. 

SSC Delhi Police, CAPF SI Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the recruitment drive, interested candidates must have passed their Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university. Those candidates who are appearing for their final examination can also apply considering that they must possess essential educational qualifications by August 1, 2024. Moreover, applicants should also be aged between 20 to 25 years of age as of August 1, 2023. However, candidates from the various reserved categories will be provided age relaxations as per norms. 

SSC Delhi Police, CAPF SI Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The shortlisting of candidates for the SSC Delhi Police, CAPF SI Recruitment 2024 shall be done based on a multi-stage recruitment process which include Paper-1, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). 

The Paper-1 Exam shall consist of a total 200 questions for 200 marks with 50 questions each spread across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Candidates will be given a maximum time limit of 2 hours for the Paper-1 Exam. 

The Paper-2 Exam shall be based on English Language and Comprehension, and consist of a total 200 questions for a maximum mark of 200, and a maximum time limit of 2 hours. Step 1: First, visit the official website ssc.gov.in

Step 2: Then, on the homepage, navigate to the ‘Apply’ link

Step 3: Now, a new page will appear on your screen

Step 4: click on ‘Sub Inspector Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination’

Step 5: Next, fill in the application form with the required details

Step 6: Pay the required application fee and click on ‘Submit’

Step 7: At last, download the registration form for your reference.
