Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: Notification Released, Applications Begin October 5

The selection of candidates for the Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023 shall be done through a twos-stage written examination followed by physical examination tests.

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the official notification for the Bihar Police SI (Sub-Inspector) Recruitment 2023. Interested candidates can check the notification on the official website - bpssc.bih.nic.in. As per the notification, the BPSSC is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 1,275 vacancies of Sub-inspectors in Bihar Police. The online application process for the recruitment will begin on October 5, 2023 on the official website. The last date to apply for the recruitment is November 5, 2023. 

As per the official notification, the shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done on the basis of a three-stage selection procedure. In the first stage, candidates will be required to appear for the preliminary written exam, and those who clear the preliminary exam will be called for the further main examination. Finally, those who clear the main examination shall move ahead for the physical fitness and medical tests in the final round. 

The preliminary exam shall consist of 100 total questions for 200 marks, and candidates will be given a maximum time limit of two hours to answer all questions in the exam. The main examination on the other hand shall consist of two papers: Paper-1 and Paper-2, where both the papers shall contain a total of 200 marks each. Candidates will be required to score a minimum of 30% marks in both the preliminary as well as main examination, to appear for the physical examination tests.
