JEE Main 2019 (January session) Application forms are out on the official website nta.ac.in or jeemain.nic.in. Candidates can fill and submit their application form through online mode from the website of NTA. Last date of application form submission is till 30th September 2018.Here are top 5 things to know about JEE Main 2019: • JEE Main is a national level entrance test organized every year to provide admission into the B.Tech, B.E, B.Plan and B.Arch programs. JEE Main 2019 Qualifying candidates successfully get admission into these courses at various institutes including IITs, CFITs and NITs. • This year various changes are made by the HRD Ministry in various entrance exams including the JEE Main. These changes are – ➢ The exam conducting responsibility is assigned to National Testing Agency. ➢ JEE Main from 2019 onwards will be conducted two times in a year in the month of January and April. ➢ The examination from now will conducted by online CBT mode. ➢ Candidates now will be able to book their slots. ➢ Top 2, 24,000 qualifying candidates in JEE Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. ➢ From 1st September, the authority has provided the facility of practice by setting up nearly 2,697 practice centers for the appearing students. Candidates can avail this facility free of cost on Saturdays and Sundays. ➢ The board has identified 258 exam centers including 248 centers in India and 10 in foreign countries. • JEE Main I 2019 Official Dates Complete schedule of JEE Main 2019 (January session) is given below: ➢ Application form availability from 1st September 2018 ➢ Last date of application form submission till 30th September 2018 ➢ Release of admit card 17th December 2018 ➢ JEE Main 2019 Exam 6th January 2019 to 20th January 2019 ➢ Result declaration 31st January 2019 • Eligibility: Before applying for JEE Main 2019 candidates go through the eligibility criteria Applying candidate is eligible if he/she has scored minimum marks of 75% or has appeared in the top 20 percentile in the 10+2 level exam. For ST/SC candidate the minimum qualifying marks is 65%. • Admit cards: The admit card of JEE Main I will be released on 17th December 2018. JEE Main 2019 Entrance exam are scheduled from 6th January 2019 to 20th January 2019. The authority has organized 8 different sittings for the conduction of entrance test.
