J-K NEET UG Counselling 2023 Registration To Begin From July 19 On jkbopee.gov.in

The registration for J-K National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test will begin from July 19.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is set to commence the registration for J-K National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2023) counselling from July 19. Eligible students belonging to the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, who have qualified NEET UG 2023 by meeting the minimum cut-off set by the National Testing Agency (NTA), will be required to register on the official website at jkbopee.gov.in.

This counselling process provides an opportunity for qualifying students to apply for admission to various medical and dental courses in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. 

The deadline for submitting the application form for J-K NEET UG admission 2023 is July 23. Notably, even candidates whose names were initially not on the list but are domiciled in J-K and Ladakh and have subsequently submitted their documents will still be considered eligible. Furthermore, the authorities have released the roll numbers and NEET scores of the 139 candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the admission process.

J-K NEET UG Counselling 2023: Documents Required

For the J-K National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2023) counselling, candidates will need to provide the following documents:

  • NEET-UG scorecard for the year 2023.
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets.
  • Domicile certificate of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh.
  • ST category certificate (if applicable) for candidates belonging to the Union Territory of Ladakh.
  • Category certificate (if required).
  • Date of Birth certificate.

Additionally, candidates from the Union Territory of Ladakh will be required to upload a Compulsory Service Bond, which will be available in the Information Brochure provided by the Board on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in.

The cut-off score for different categories is as under:

a. Open Merit (including JKPM/Child of PMF/CDP/Sports/ EWS) : 137
b. Open Merit (Physically Handicapped/PWD) : 121
c. SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP (for J&K/Ladakh): : 107
d. SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP(Physically Handicapped/PWD) : 107
e. ST(Physically Handicapped/PWD) : 108
