Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: Application process for SSC, PC posts begins tomorrow; here's how to apply

The Indian Navy is scheduled to begin the online application process for the recruitment of Short Service Commission (SSC) and Permanent Commission (PC) posts.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: The Indian Navy is scheduled to begin the online application process for the recruitment of Short Service Commission (SSC) and Permanent Commission (PC) posts. The Indian Navy has notified Executive Branch (Pilot/Observer entry) & Education Branch for SSC posts and for the Executive Branch (Logistics Cadre) in the PC posts. Only male candidates are eligible for the Permanent Commission Officer posts notified here. The total number of vacancies is 53 and the candidates selected will be inducted to Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and courses will commence from January 2020. The last date for the submission of application is 5th April 2019. Vacancy Details: Observer – 06 posts Pilot (MR) – 03 posts Pilot (Other than MR) – 05 posts Logistics – 15 posts Education – 23 posts Important Dates: Online application submission begins – 16th March 2019 Online application submission ends – 05th April 2019 Tentative date for interview – May-August Eligibility Criteria: The applicants must be Engineering graduates/graduates with PG Diploma in Finance/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ Material Management, MCA, MSc (IT). Candidates with Masters degree in Chemistry, English, History, Physics are also eligible to apply for the Education branch. Candidates must read through the official advertisement to ascertain their eligibility before applying. Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 for SSC & PC Posts Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 23 years (24 for education branch posts). Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a two-tiered interview conducted by Service Selection Board (SSB), Ministry of Defence (Navy) during the month of May-August at Bengaluru for pilot and observer candidates.
