IIM Indore Placement 2019: Management institute sets new benchmark with 89.25 lac salary package

IIM Indore Placement 2019: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore has set a new record for itself while concluding the placement drive for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) 2017-19 and 5-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) batch. The highest package offered during the placement drive 2019 was INR 89.25 lac per annum for international placement, marking a 41% rise from the previous year’s placement session which had INR 63.45 lac per annum as the highest international offer. The highest domestic offer was made at INR 40.5 lac per annum, registering an increase of 23% from last year’s INR 33.04 lac per annum highest domestic salary. More than 200 recruiters were invited on the buzzing campus of IIM Indore where a total of 607 students were appearing for the tryst with their career journeys. Out of the total recruiters, 57 had participated in IIM Indore’s placement drive for the first time. INR 30.04 lac per annum is the average CTC for Top 50 job offers and INR 28.47 lac per annum for Top 100 offers. The average salary for the complete batch rose to INR 20.79 lac per annum as compared to INR 19.4 lac per annum in 2018. The top domains in the IIM Indore Placement 2019 drive were consulting, finance, and sales & marketing, with top global as well as domestic players arriving to hire the country’s top talent including Avalon Consulting, Bain Capability Centre, Boston Consulting Group, Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte USI, Ernst & Young. Other companies included Aditya Birla Capital, Axis Bank, Barclays, Bank of America Continuum, Credit Suisse, CRISIL, Deutsche Bank, DHFL Pramerica, Edelweiss, Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Limited, Asian Paints, Britannia, Cipla, Crompton Greaves, Dabur, Dalmia Bharat Group, Dolcera, Eli Lilly, GroupM, GSK Pharma, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Jubilant Foodworks, Kent RO Systems, L’Oreal, Maruti Suzuki, and many others.
