GATE 2022: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2022 Exam has started from today - February 5 amid the ongoing scare of Coronavirus fueled by the contagious Omicron variant. The Supreme Court had refused to postpone the exam while ruling on a petition filed to postpone the exam. Following the apex court's order, IIT Kharagpur Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam has started across the country from today.

The exam will be held on February 6, 12 and 13, 2022. The exam is being conducted in 2 slots. According to it, it will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Meanwhile, students are advised to follow COVID-19 safety protocols. Additionally, candidates have been informed that as per their GATE admid card guidelines, Covid positive candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

All students are also advised to reach the exam centre at least 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam.
