Delhi Nursery Admission 2023: First Merit List Today, Check Details Here

Nursey Admission 2023: The first merit list will be available on the notice board of the respective schools.

The Directorate of Education, Delhi will release Delhi Nursery Admission 2023 first merit list today, January 20, 2023. The first merit list will be available on the notice board of the respective schools. After the announcement of the first merit list, if parents have any queries related to the allotment of points to their wards for the first list can be sent through written, email or verbal interaction from January 21 to January 30, 2023.

As per the circular, “No deviation from the above schedule shall be permitted. Each school shall display the aforesaid admission schedule on its notice board and website. Further, each school shall ensure that application forms for admission are made available to all applicants till the last date of submission."

The second list of shortlisted students will be out on February 6. A child needs to be at least four years old to fill the form for nursery admission. The age limit is five years for admission in kindergarten and at least six years for Class 1 as on March 31, 2023. The registration process for admission to entry-level classes in more than 1,800 private schools in Delhi for the 2023-24 academic session had begun on December 1 and ended on December 23.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2023-24: Important Dates 

First merit list: January 20, 2023.

Resolution of queries of parents:  January 21 to 30, 2023

Second merit list:  February 6, 2023.

Resolution of queries of parents:  February 8 to 14, 2023

Subsequent list of admission:  March 1, 2023.

Closure of admission:  March 13, 2023.

25% Seats To EWS Category

It is to be noted that all the private schools of Delhi will reserve 25 percent of seats for economically weaker sections (EWS) and disadvantaged group (DG) students and children with disabilities.
