CBSE Boards 2020: The much anticipated decision of the Supreme Court on whether the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the pending board exams of class 12th or not, will be announced today. The crucial hearing on cancellation of exams will be held today at 2 PM. Also Read:  SC To Announce Final Decision On Pending CBSE Board Exams For Classes 10 And 12 Today The hearing will be deciding the further course of actions for the students, who have been dangling since months, after the Coronavirus induced lockdown threw the examinations in uncertainty. The medium for the examination to be conducted remains another cause of concern for the parents and students due to rising number of cases. On March 18, the Board had decided to postpone the remaining examination of boards, in the wake of rising Covid-19 cases in India. How CBSE board exams remained affected amid Covid-19 spread, here is a look at the timeline of events:  March 18: The Board decided to cancel the remaining Board exams for students in the wake of initial outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. May 8: HRD Ministry says CBSE will conduct pending class 10th and 12th board exams from July 1st to July 15th June 2: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released a notification for the board examinations June 8: The HRD Ministry has said that the results of pending board exams of Class 10 and 12 are likely to be released in August. The decision for reopening schools will be taken after the results are declared. June 15-16: Parents start online campaign demanding scrapping Of ICSE, CBSE examinations as Corona crisis peaks June 17: A petition was filed in SC and it was asked how the exams would be conducted? After hearing the petition, the Supreme Court asked CBSE's decision on June 17, 2020. June 23: The first hearing of the case was conducted on Tuesday and CBSE Board requested time till Thursday. July 25: SC’s hearing will commence at 2 pm. Also Watch:
