The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has released the provisional answer key and candidate response sheet for the CAT 2023 exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download the CAT 2023 Answer Key on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. Candidates will be required to login to the official website using their credentials to access their CAT 2023 response sheets and the provisional answer keys for Slot-1, 2, and 3 of the CAT 2023 Exam. 

Besides releasing the provisional answer key and candidate response sheets, the IIM Lucknow has also invited objections/ challenges against the provisional answer key. Candidates who come across discrepancies in the CAT 2023 provisional answer keys can raise objections/ challenge the answer key by December 8, 2023. Candidates can submit their challenges/ objections after logging into the website. Candidates may note that they will be required to pay a processing fee of Rs 1,200 for objections raised per question. 

After receiving all the challenges, objections against the CAT 2023 Provisional Answer Key, subject matter experts will carefully review all the objections, and release the CAT 2023 Final Answer Key accordingly. The evaluation of candidates’ performances in the CAT 2023 Exam shall be done on the final answer key. 

Earlier, the IIM Lucknow conducted the CAT 2023 Exam on November 26, 2023, in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. The exam paper consisted of a total of 66 questions, spread across three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Analysis. Each of the sections were allotted a time limit of 40 minutes, and candidates were given a maximum time duration of 120 minutes to answer all the questions.
