BSNL Recruitment 2019: 198 JTO posts via GATE 2019 score; apply from Feb 11

BSNL Recruitment 2019 via GATE 2019 Score: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released a notification inviting applications from Graduate Engineers for the post of Junior Telecom Officer in Civil and Electrical disciplines. The applicants must appear for the GATE 2019 examination in order to qualify for the BSNL JTO Recruitment 2019. The application process for the same is scheduled to commence on 11th February 2019, next week, and will conclude on 12th March 2019, next month. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering aka GATE 2019 is currently underway across the country and will conclude on 10th February 2019. Candidates who had successfully registered for GATE 2019, and who will appear for the examination, can submit their online applications on the official website of BSNL from 11th February 2019 onwards. Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be a BE/BTech or its equivalent in Civil Engineering discipline for JTO (Civil) & in Electrical Engineering discipline for JTO (Electrical) post. S/he must have appeared for the GATE Civil (CE) or Electrical (EE), as relevant to the post they are applying for. Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 30 years as on 12th March 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below: Official Advertisement for BSNL Recruitment 2019 for 198 Junior Telecom Officer Posts Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed at Executive [E-1A] level with a pay scale of Rs.16,400 - 40,500/- per month as per 2 nd PRC with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay, plus the applicable IDA, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, etc. Selection Process: Candidates need to select a particular BSNL circle where they wish to serve if selected. Upon declaration of GATE-2019 results, BSNL will release circle wise merit list based on the GATE Score-2019 and available vacancy of the circle. No Interview or further examinations will be held in the selection process.
