General Category – 18 to 25 years as on closing date i.e. 12th June, 2019

OBC Category – 18 to 28 years as on closing date i.e. 12th June, 2019

SC & ST Category – 18 to 38 years as on closing date i.e. 12th June, 2019

BSF Recruitment 2019: The Directorate General Border Security Force (DGBSF) has issued a notification to fill 1072 vacancies for the post of Head Constable on its official website – bsf.nic.in. BSF is inviting applications for the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic). The online application process for the direct and departmental BSF Recruitment 2019 is scheduled to be held from 14th May 2019 to 12th June 2019. Vacancy Details: Head Constable (Radio Operator) – 300 Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) – 772 Important Dates: Start date for the submission of online application – 14th May, 2019 Last date for the submission of online application – 12th June, 2019 OMR based Screening Test – 28th July, 2019 PST, PET & Documentation – 9th October, 2019 onwards Descriptive Written Test – 24th November, 2019 Final Medical Exam – 30th January, 2020 onwards Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be Class 10th passed with 2 years Industrial Training Institute Certificate or ITI in the trades mentioned for each post. Or The applicant must be Class 12th passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University with 60% aggregate marks in PCM. Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be done in four phases which will include OMR based Screening Test, followed by PST, PET & Documentation Verification, Descriptive Written Test and Final Medical Exam. Pay Scale: Candidates who get selected for the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) will be placed in the Level 4 of 7th Pay Commission in the pay scale of Rs.25,500-81,100/- per month.
