10 Years Of DUSU Elections: A Look At The Winners Of The Last Decade

The Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) Elections 2024 were conducted on September 27.

After almost two months since polling, the counting of votes for the declaration of results of the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections is underway and is expected to be released by the end of the day.

In September, the Delhi High Court had stayed the counting of votes due to issues related to alleged defacement of public and private properties during the election campaign. A few weeks ago, the court directed the university to resume the counting process and finish it by November 26, subject to the condition that the defacements were cleaned up.

As per the information received from officials, about 51,300 students cast their votes out of 1.45 lakh eligible voters.

In this year’s election, Aam Aadmi Party’s student wing, Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS), did not participate in the polls.
