Rain Continues To Lash Parts Of Delhi-NCR, IMD Predicts Thunderstorm, Light Showers In Next 2 Hours
Light to moderate showers continued to lash parts of Delhi-NCR on Thursday morning. The weather department has predicted more rain and thunderstorm in the next two hours across the city.
The rain continued to lash parts of the national capital Delhi on Thursday morning days after the monsoon hit the town. The weather department has predicted thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain over and adjoining areas of many places of Delhi, New Delhi, South Delhi, South-East Delhi, East Delhi, during the next two hours. IMD also said that light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of many places of Delhi, NCR including Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Manesar. IMD added that the city is expected to experience a cloudy sky with light to moderate rain and thundershowers on Thursday.

"Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of many places of Delhi, NCR ( Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar)," the weatherman said.

It further said, "Gannaur, Sonipat, Kharkhoda, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Sohana, Palwal, Nuh, Aurangabad (Haryana) Saharanpur, Baraut, Bagpat, Khekra, Modinagar, Pilakhua, Hapur, Gulaoti, Sikandrabad (U.P.) . Light intensity rain/drizzle would occur over and adjoining areas of Shamli, Muzaffarnagar."
Meanwhile, IMD stated that moderate rainfall continues to occur over Mumbai since the forenoon of yesterday.
"It is likely to continue during next 3 hours. Extremely Heavy rainfall has occurred at isolated stations and very heavy at some stations during last 21 hours," it added.
