Delhi: Roof Collapses At Ambience Mall In Vasant Kunj, None Hurt. Video Surfaces
A portion of the roof collapsed in Delhi's Ambience Mall during routine maintenance work in the central hall of the mall.
In a serious incident, a huge portion of the concrete roof collapsed in southwest Delhi's Ambience Mall in the early hours of Monday. The collapse in the central hall of the mall located in Vasant Kunj. According to news agency PTI, no injuries were reported in the incident as it took place past midnight.
Police said that the roof partially collapsed in the mall's central hall around 12.45 am and the debris scattered all around the section, PTI reported. While no one was injured in the incident, an investigation was underway, they informed.
A video circulating online shows debris from the collapsed roof falling onto escalators and railings.

The mall has been closed for a day as a precautionary measure and will reopen after the completion of maintenance work, the report stated.

Fatal Mishap In Noida Extension Mall
In another mall mishap, two men lost their lives on Sunday after an iron grille fell on them inside a shopping mall in Noida Extension. According to Additional DCP (Central Noida) Hridesh Katheriya, the victims were walking towards an escalator on the ground floor of Galaxy Blue Sapphire mall when the iron structure collapsed from the fifth floor, killing them instantly, news agency PTI reported.
A video of the incident also surfaced on social media.
The deceased, identified as Harendra Bhati and Shakeel, both aged around 35, were residents of the Vijay Nagar area in adjoining Ghaziabad district.
The Bisrakh police station was informed by Yatharth Hospital about the incident, following which a police team reached the spot. Katheriya stated that legal action would be initiated once a complaint is received from the families of the victims.
