Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Gokalpur Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Gokalpur Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Gokalpur Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Gokalpur assembly constituency are Harsh Vihar, Saboli, Gokal Puri, and Joharipur.

1. Harsh Vihar: In the Gokalpur Delhi assembly constituency, Harsh Vihar is ward number two hundred thirty-seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 78,698. The Harsh Vihar (Ward 237) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste women.

2. Saboli: In the Gokalpur Delhi assembly constituency, Saboli is ward number two hundred thirty-eight in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 71,019. The Saboli (Ward 238) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste.

3. Gokal Puri: In the Gokalpur Delhi assembly constituency, Gokal Puri is ward number two hundred thirty-nine in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 73,943. The Gokal Puri (Ward 239) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste women.

4. Joharipur: In the Gokalpur Delhi assembly constituency, Joharipur is ward number two hundred forty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 71,269. The Joharipur (Ward 240) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste.
