AAP National Secretary Pankaj Gupta, Mayor of Delhi Shelly Oberoi & Deputy Mayor Aale Iqbal are also present in the meeting.

Fearing that Arvind Kejriwal may be arrested while being questioned at the CBI headquarters in the national capital, Aam Aadmi Party Delhi convenor Gopal Rai holds  a meeting at the party office at 5 p.m. on Sunday, according to sources. The party's office bearers, district presidents, national secretaries, and other officials including AAP National Secretary Pankaj Gupta, Mayor of Delhi Shelly Oberoi & Deputy Mayor Aale Iqbal are also present in the meeting, news agency ANI reported.

This comes as Arvind Kejriwal is being questioned at the CBI headquarters on the Delhi Excise policy issue.

Earlier, the Delhi Police detained AAP leaders Raghav Chadha, Sanjay Singh, and others for demonstrating near the CBI headquarters in the national capital on Sunday.

The imprisoned AAP leaders were heard screaming anti-Prime Minister Narendra Modi chants.

"BJP suffers from Kejriwal phobia. It is because of Kejriwal's fear that the BJP has come down to such an act. It is a cowardly act. We are not scared of jail," Raghav Chadha was quoted by ANI in its report.

The AAP is contesting the CBI's interrogation of CM Kejriwal in the Excise policy issue.

Kejriwal paid respect to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in the national capital on Sunday, before of his hearing before the federal investigating agency in connection with the excise policy issue.

Kejriwal was joined by his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Maan, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, and other party leaders.

Before going to the CBI headquarters, Kejriwal stated that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) administration gives the instructions, the central agency will arrest him.

In a video message released on Sunday morning, Kejriwal said, "They (CBI) have called me today and I will definitely go. They are very powerful, they can send anyone to jail. If BJP has ordered CBI to arrest me, then CBI will obviously follow their instructions."
