Pennsylvania Man Held After Showing Father's Severed Head In Video Clip
A Pennsylvania man was taken into police custody for allegedly posting a disturbing video holding up his father’s severed head online, the New York Post reported, citing a report. The clip has been removed.
According to Fox29, police found the beheaded body in a Middletown Township home after responding to a report of a death just after 7 p.m. Tuesday. “We got called to the home and officers went in and discovered the father upstairs deceased,” Middletown Police Chief Joe Bartorilla said outside the crime scene late Tuesday night, as quoted by the New York Post.
Man Murders Wife, Lover After Duo Elopes In Karnataka
A man allegedly killed his wife and her lover to death after they eloped in Belagavi district in Karnataka, as reported by news agency IANS. The deceased were identified as 19-year-old Hina Mehaboob and her lover, 21-year-old Yasin Adam.
According to IANS, the accused was identified as 24-year-old Toufiq Shoukat, a resident of Kokatnur village. As per the police, Hina and Toufiq got married four months ago and hired a cab to visit a dargah. However, Hina fell in love with cab driver Yasin and eloped with him, leaving behind her husband.
Hina and her lover Yasin started living at a farmhouse in Kokatnur. Enraged over the incident, Toufiq went to their house and attacked them with a sharp-edged weapon on Tuesday evening. Toufiq hacked his wife Hina to death and later killed Yasin. Toufiq also attacked Hina's parents who had come to rescue their daughter.
Man Held For Gang Rape, Forced Conversion Of Woman In UP
A 24-year-old man was arrested by the Lucknow police who allegedly gang-raped a 21-year-old woman and recorded her objectionable videos with the help of his friends, after spiking her ice-cream and extorting Rs 3 lakh, as reported by news agency IANS. They even threatened her to post the video on social media.
The man is also accused of forcing the girl to change her religion, police said. The accused, Nihal a.k.a. Syed Abdul Alim Zafri, a resident of Madiyaon, was arrested from Noida on Monday, where he was working in a private firm. A case against him and his friends was registered in June last, under multiple charges at Aliganj police station.
19 Killed After Bus, Trailer Collide In Mexico
Nineteen people were killed after a double-decker passenger bus collided with a trailer on the Mazatlan-Culiacan Highway in northern Mexico, according to Sinaloa state Attorney General Sara Bruna Quinonez Estrada.
In a message posted on social media platform X, the head of the Sinaloa State Attorney General's Office said on Tuesday: "So far, according to the expert work that is still being carried out in that area, 19 lifeless bodies have been registered" at the site of the accident in the municipality of Elota.
"We still do not have the total number of people who were travelling; we are in the process of comparing it with the (bus) company's list," she added as quoted by Xinhua news agency report.
She stated that the bus burst into flames following the impact and bodies were burnt beyond recognition, so it will take time "to verify the identification" of the fatal victims. In a later statement, Sinaloa's government said the bus was travelling between Guadalajara and Los Mochis when the accident occurred at 5:15 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
