No FIR In Puneet Khurana Suicide Case Even After 48 Hours, Family Accuses Police Of 'Helping' Accused
Puneet Khurana's family has alleged police inaction in his suicide case, claiming they delayed the FIR and post-mortem.
The family of Puneet Khurana, the bakery owner in Delhi who died by suicide at his home in Model Town, has alleged that the police are not taking adequate action in the case.
The family has alleged the police helped the accused by not registering the FIR and delaying the post-mortem of the dead body.
Puneet was found dead at his residence in Model Town and the family alleged that he took his life because of his wife Manika Pahwa and her parents who mentally pressurised him, harassed and provoked him to commit suicide.
"Police are helping the accused," Sumit, brother of Puneet Khurana, told ABP News. "The FIR has not been lodged even after 48 hours," he alleged, adding "The post-mortem is also being delayed."

Money Dispute Between The Families
ABP News has learnt that the two families have been in dispute over money which was one of the reasons for Puneet's distress. The Khuranas had lent a large amount of money to Manika's family. Manika's father, Jagdish Pahwa would time and again promise to return the money but never did so. The evidence submitted by Puneet's family included a video where Jagdish could be heard promising to give Rupees two crore in exchange for the house.
The house where the couple lived is registered under Manika's name and her father promised to give Rupees 2 crore in exchange but later made a U-turn.
