3 Criminals Arrested After Shootout With Police In Delhi's Rohini
Three criminals with extensive histories were arrested after a gunfight with Delhi police. Two were injured in crossfire, they were caught with stolen weapons and a car.

Three criminals were arrested after a brief exchange of fire with police in Delhi's Rohini area after they were asked to stop their stolen black Creta, on Wednesday. The incident occurred around 10:30 pm following a tip-off that three inter-state criminals were planning an offence there. Following this, police set up a trap on the Pansali Road in Begampur.
Govind alias Kohli, 33, Krishna alias Kinha and Daud alias Sameer were arrested, according to PTI. The criminals were spotted in a stolen black Creta car on Helipad Road, Begampur. When police ordered them to stop, the history-sheeters opened fire, shooting five bullets at the officers.
In self-defence, the police fired back, injuring Govind and Krishna in their legs, these two were taken to the BSA Hospital.
As per the report, Daud was arrested and two pistols were recovered from him. Police also recovered two semi-automatic pistols, one live cartridge and four used shells from the accused. The stolen Creta car was also recovered.
The police confirmed that the three individuals were involved in multiple criminal activities, including burglary, robbery, looting, and vehicle theft. As per PTI, the stolen black Creta car they were using had been taken from Netaji Subhash Place.
Criminal History Of The Three
One of the accused, Govind, a resident of Delhi's Sultanpuri, had an extensive criminal history with over 70 cases against him, including charges of murder, robbery, and attempted murder. He has previously served time in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad prisons.
Krishna, a resident of Delhi's Pitampura, was involved in more than 23 criminal cases, including robbery, dacoity, and arms act violations. He was imprisoned alongside Govind. Govind was released from a jail in Delhi on December 13 last year, whilst Krishna was freed on February 27.
Daud, hailing from Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, also has a history of criminal activities. He has over 10 cases registered against him, including charges of auto-lifting, robbery, and violations of the Arms Act. He was previously detained in Ahmedabad for his criminal activities.
