Jeevan Pramaan Portal: Enables online submission using biometric authentication.
Doorstep Banking (DSB) Agent: For assistance in submitting certificates from home.

Alternatively, pensioners can directly submit a physical life certificate at banks, post offices, or other designated facilities.
Deadline for Submission and Special Provisions
The submission period for pensioners under 80 runs from November 1 to November 30. Super senior citizens, aged 80 and above, were given an early submission window beginning October 1, also ending November 30. This provision, introduced by the government in 2019, allows senior pensioners additional time for submission.
Implications of Missing the Submission Deadline
Pension disbursements will be suspended if the life certificate is not submitted by the deadline. However, pension payments will resume once the life certificate is provided.
Digital Campaign for Life Certificates
In a related effort, the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) launched a nationwide campaign to facilitate digital life certificate (DLC) generation. The campaign, running from November 1 to November 30 across 800 cities and districts, saw over 1.8 lakh pensioners generate digital life certificates on the first day.
Pensioners are encouraged to use these convenient methods to ensure timely submission and prevent disruption in their pension benefits.
