Ola CEO Aggarwal And Kunal Kamra’s Fight Escalates, Latter Calls Him ‘Olan Musk’. Here’s What Happened

The issue began when Kunal Kamra called out for Indian customers to raise their voice against issues being faced with Ola Electric. Aggarwal didn't take kindly to the allegations

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and comedian Kunal Kamra got involved in a heated exchange over the weekend. The conversation went viral on social media and Netizens also shared their reactions to the whole incidence.

The issue began when Kunal Kamra called out for Indian customers to raise their voice against issues being faced with Ola Electric. In a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the comedian shared the photo of an Ola showroom and said, “Do indian consumers have a voice? Do they deserve this? Two wheelers are many daily wage workers lifeline…@nitin_gadkari is this how Indians will get to using EV’s? @jagograhakjago any word? Anyone who has an issue with OLA electric leave your story below tagging all…”

This irked Aggarwal who chose to allege the post as a paid tweet done by Kamra. Calling the comedian out for his ‘failed career’, the executive urged him to find real work or sit back and let the company focus on fixing real issues.

In another post, Aggarwal said, “Chot lagi? Dard hua? Aaja service center. Bahut kaam hai. I will pay better than your flop shows pay you. Show your audience how much you truly care and whether you’re only gas and BS.”

However, the matter didn’t stop there and Kamra called out the businessman and his firm for providing unethical services. “Customers can’t compute with your EV. There’s no remedy for service Customers don’t have a voice Here’s the Ola boys log “COME ILL PAY WORK FOR ME” “ACCEPT MY CHALLENGE”,” the post read.

The issue continued to escalate into a full blown confrontation where Kamra ended up posting 'OLAN MUSK' referring to the Indian CEO as a domestic representation of Elon Musk, who is infamous for his social media conversations.

Netizens weren't far behind in being a part of the conflict, where many customers talked about their experience with Ola's services and issues with the company's products.

Meanwhile, another user pointed out the irony of Aggarwal alleging Kamra's accusations as paid tweets. The user, Aditya Shah, shared screenshots of a Whatsapp conversation and said mutliple influencers were approached by the company to do paid endorsements for their products. The user said, "While the OLA electric CEO rants on someone else's paid tweet or not. I & multiple influencers were approached to do paid tweet about Ola just as recently as last month. Ola hired PR agency to create nice tweets on Social media. The regulator should crack down on such PR stunts."
