In a heartfelt message directed to cricketer Sarfaraz Khan's father, the billionaire businessman Anand Mahindra conveyed his wish to present a brand new Thar to Naushad Khan. “For being an inspirational parent, it would be my privilege and honour if Naushad Khan would accept the gift of a Thar,” Mahindra expressed in a post on X on Friday.

Mahindra reposted a video initially shared by the BCCI, capturing Naushad's emotional reaction after Sarfaraz received the cap from Anil Kumble.

In the shared video by BCCI, Naushad can be seen saying, “Aaj cap milne ke baad meri soch badal gayi hai. Toh unn tamam bacchon ke liye, jo mehnat kar rahe hai, ‘Raat ko waqt do guzarne ke liye, suraj apne hi samay me niklega (After Sarfaraz got the cap, my thoughts have changed. So all those who are working hard, let the night pass by according to its own time as the sun will rise).”
