Deepinder Goyal Shares Customers' Surprised Reactions When Wife Grecia Munoz Delivered Zomato Orders
The second featured couple on the show was Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy and Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murty, who reflected on their 47-year marriage
On ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal shared a unique experience where he and his wife, Grecia Munoz (also known as Gia Goyal on the show), became delivery agents for a day. Recently married in February, the couple took to the streets of Gurgaon on a bike, donning Zomato’s signature red t-shirts, and documented their adventure through a series of videos.
Goyal shared that customers were especially surprised when Gia delivered their orders. "They just kept staring," he said, mimicking the shocked reactions of customers in a teaser clip from the episode. He also spoke about the fun and unexpected nature of their delivery experience, noting how it sparked positive interactions with customers and added an element of surprise to their day.
The second featured couple on the show was Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy and Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murty, who reflected on their 47-year marriage. Murthy fondly recalled his first impression of Sudha, describing her presence as "a breath of fresh air" the first time she visited his family’s home.
When host Kapil Sharma asked if they had become more similar over the years, Sudha Murty shared that she had adopted some of her husband’s traits, such as being punctual and deeply committed to her work. Known for her writing and philanthropy, Murty also revealed that the secret to their enduring partnership is their avoidance of criticism, adding with a smile that Murthy has never complained about her cooking—even humorously attributing his weight gain to her culinary skills.
The couple avoids complaints to maintain harmony in their relationship. “I cook terribly, but he never complains. Look at Murthy saab's weight, thanks to my cooking,” she joked, playfully pointing to his weight as proof of her culinary skills.
