Cryptocurrency price on July 23 quick take: The global crypto market cap saw a minor dip of less than 1 percent over the past 24 hours.
Ethereum (ETH), the second-most valued cryptocurrency in the world, managed to remain above the $1,500 mark on early Saturday morning. The coin has been seeing a bullish run since a tentative date for the Ethereum Mainnet Merge was announced for September. Bitcoin (BTC), on the other hand, failed to stay above the $23,000 mark, registering a minor dip over the past 24 hours. Among lesser-known altcoins, the EOS token managed to become the top gainer over the past 24 hours, alongside other coins such as NEM, and Trust Wallet Token.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap stood at $1.04 trillion as per CoinMarketCap data, registering a 24-hour loss of 0.59 percent.

At the time of writing, BTC was priced at $22,857.35. As per CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin saw a 24-hour dip of 0.05 percent. As per Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 19.08 lakhs.
Ethereum (ETH) price today
With a 24-hour gain of 1.61 percent, ETH price stood at $1,586.82. As per WazirX, Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.3 lakhs.
