Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin Shows Losses As ICP Becomes Top Gainer

Cryptocurrency price on April 18, a quick take: The global crypto market cap stood at $1.25 trillion on Tuesday morning.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) — two of the most valued crypto coins — managed to rise above the $29,000 and $2,000 marks, respectively, on early Tuesday morning. However, in terms of percentage-wise performance, BTC saw a loss of 1.51 percent. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC) — landed in the positive as overall prices saw minor gains across the board. Internet Computer (ICP) emerged to be the biggest gainer, seeing a 24-hour jump of over 7.26 percent. Rocket Pool (RPL), on the other hand, turned out to be the biggest loser. 

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap stood at $1.25 trillion, registering a 24-hour loss of 1.29 percent.

Bitcoin (BTC) price today

Bitcoin price stood at $29,493.68 seeing a 24-hour loss of 1.51 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 25.50 lakhs.

Ethereum (ETH) price today

ETH price stood at $2,081.50, marking a 24-hour loss of 0.60 percent at the time of writing. As per WazirX, Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.81 lakhs.

Dogecoin (DOGE) price today

DOGE registered a 24-hour gain of 2.55 percent as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.0914. As per WazirX, Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 7.8300.

Litecoin (LTC) price today

Litecoin saw a 24-hour gain of 3.95 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $102.44. LTC price in India stood at Rs 8,815.00.

Ripple (XRP) price today

XRP price stood at $0.5142, seeing a 24-hour gain of 0.09 percent. As per WazirX, Ripple price stood at Rs 44.0004.

Solana (SOL) price today

Solana price stood at $24.44, marking a 24-hour loss of 4.24 percent. As per WazirX, SOL price in India stood at Rs 2,130.00.
