The Union Budget 2022-23 will be made available on the Union Budget Mobile App after the process of Budget presentation will be completed on February 1 in the Parliament.

New Delhi: The Budget Session of the Parliament will commence from January 31 where budgets of various sectors of the economy will be announced, with the Annual Budget being the key highlight. In order to make the budget documents, budget speech, and other elements of the Budget Session more accessible to Members of Parliaments and the general public, a “Union Budget Mobile App” has been launched.

The app was launched earlier last year where the Union Budget 2022-23 will also be made available after the process of the Budget presentation will be completed on February 1 in the Parliament.

The mobile app can be downloaded from the official Union Budget web portal.

To download the app from the Union Budget Web Portal, follow the steps mentioned below

  • Visit the website www.indiabudget.gov.in.
  • Click the ‘Download Mobile Application’ option from the homepage.
  • Select the platform according to your mobile operating system
  • Click ‘Install’
  • Users can also download the app directly from Google Playstore or iOS App Store.

The mobile app will allow complete access to 14 Union Budget documents, which would include Budget Speech, Annual Financial Statement (commonly known as Budget), Demand for Grants (DG), Finance Bill, etc. as prescribed by the Constitution. This mobile app will be bilingual and will be available in Hindi as well as English.

The Union Budget Web Portal will also allow the general public to download budget documents.

President Ramnath Kovind will address the joint sitting of the two Houses on January 31 after which the Union Budget will be presented on February 1.

The first part of the Budget Session will begin from January 31 till February 11. The second part of the budget will commence from March 14 till April 8.
