Rishabh's entrepreneurial journey started in his teenage years while he was completing his Post Graduation from Birmingham.

New Delhi (India), May 5: It's not uncommon for startup founders to be in a scuffle with the board of their companies, but it's not a situation that many expect to find themselves in.

Recently, Rishabh Jain, Founder and CEO of Shiftal – one of India’s top 5 and leading blockchain companies, was asked to resign from his position. This news has sent shockwaves through the Indian business community, as Jain is widely regarded as a visionary leader in the field of blockchain technology.

The situation is quite similar to that of Ashneer Grover, co-founder and Former CEO of Bharatpe where he was asked to step down from his role as CEO after disagreements with the board.

Rishabh's entrepreneurial journey started in his teenage years while he was completing his Post Graduation from Birmingham. Rishabh's passion for technology and entrepreneurship led him to explore new avenues, and he soon realized the potential of blockchain technology. In 2019, he Founded Shiftal with the goal of revolutionizing the Indian Blockchain industry.

Under his leadership, the company quickly rose through the ranks and established itself as a major player in the field. From a rising valuation of 10 million USD to having celebrities and influencers promoting Shiftal at the fingertips of Jain, he proved his place in Indian Startup Ecosystem and is famous and prominent in Media with a huge following.

However, recently, Rishabh was asked to resign from his operational position by the Shiftal executive board, which has caused a stir in the Indian startup ecosystem. The reason for his scuffle with the is not clear, but some reports suggest that it was due to differences between Rishabh and the board regarding the company's direction and strategy, while some suggest that he just got blamed for the whole blockchain industry taking a huge dive because of the ongoing market recession and industry crash.

The news has shocked many in the Indian startup community, and it has raised questions about the challenges that Indian founders face while scaling their businesses.

Rishabh Jain currently holds the position of “Founding Partner” at Shiftal.

He joins the league of Indian founders who faced similar challenges but went on to build successful businesses and become leading figures in the Indian business community. Similar Examples include Vijay Shekhar Sharma of Paytm, Bhavish Aggarwal of OLA and Sachin Bansal of Flipkart; where all of these entrepreneurs faced challenges and setbacks in their careers. However, what sets them apart is their determination and resilience in the face of adversity.
