Of course, the updated Tigor EV now gets a tyre pressure monitoring system, Zconnect app smartwatch connectivity and a tyre puncture kit. These features are similar to the new Tiago EV which was launched recently while the Tigor gets some differentiation with premium features.
However, a bigger update is the addition of multi-mode regenerative braking which gives the option of modulating the regenerative braking. The Tigor EV is also capable of fast charging.
Like on the Nexon EV prime, current Tigor EV owners now have the ability to update their cars with a software update or even get new features added.
These changes do make the Tigor EV a better value for money and the enhanced range by 9km is also welcome. Hence, with these changes, the Tigor EV is now in-sync with the new Nexon EV Max and the Prime.
Prices now start at Rs 12.4 lakh while the top-end is now Rs 13.7 lakh with the Lux variant.
Tata Motors currently holds a huge portion of the EV market with the largest range of cars and the Tigor EV is placed between the Tiago EV and the Nexon.
