Skoda India will most probably launch its first all electric SUV by the end of this year around the festive season. That SUV could be the Elroq which was also shown at the recent Bharat Mobility Global Expo to gauge feedback. Now the Enyaq was first supposed to come to India but the Elroq could come instead. The Elroq is also a born electric SUV and is a good looking one at that. It is also smaller and will occupy a more competitive segment when launched and ofcourse 'if' launched in India.
The SUV looks sharp and had a length which is around 4.49m. This electric SUV is based on the MEB architecture while having three battery pack options including 52, 59 and 77kwh battery packs. The power on offer matches the Mahindra BE and is more than some of the compact EV SUVs out there at 280bhp for the most powerful version. If localised the Elroq can do big numbers owing to the design which is quite aggressive and the interiors are also feature packed. It looks more like a sleek crossover with sharp lines while also having the latest Skoda design language.

The first EV from Skoda though would be a premium product and this fits in as a rival to the likes of the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE plus the BYD Atto 3. So this EV could be coming to India instead of the Enyaq but again more details are to be shared later which will reveal what would finally come as the first Skoda EV in India.
