Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Cruiser Expected India Launch

This cruiser is for touring over large distances and large windshield/ fat rear tyre gives that feel. Even tank has a tear drop shape for a cruiser look & is different from current 650 range from RE.

New Delhi: More power is always welcome and now, images of faster upcoming Royal Enfield models are seen. These are 650cc bikes that show future bikes which take forward the Meteor name. We expect this bike to be called the Super Meteor 650 and would be much bigger than the current 350 Meteor. The styling is also styled like a cruiser and looks really good with spy images indicating that it is now closer to production.

We also like the swept back bars and the mid mounted foot pegs. We also expect this 650cc bike to sport more features including a LED light and a bigger instrument cluster including the Enfield Tripper navigation. This cruiser is for touring over large distances and the large windshield/ fat rear tyre gives that feel. The engine would make 47.6PS and 52Nm while being similar in terms of power output to the Interceptor and Continental GT. However the engine would be changed in terms of its power delivery being more tourer friendly with a smooth nature.

Also seen from these images, there would be accessories too. Discs at both ends and dual channel ABS would be standard while it also gets USD forks. With these images showing the bike being almost production ready, expect this to launch later this year.

In terms of pricing, it might be the most premium 650 in the RE range with its extra features along with being a premium cruiser of sorts. In terms of its competition, there would be the Kawasaki Vulcan S which would be its nearest rival but it would also be a lot more expensive.
