MG Comet EV Prices Revealed — Top-End Version Under Rs 10 Lakh
The variants are called Pace, Play and Plush. The top-end variant is called Plush and is priced at Rs 9.98 lakh while the mid Play variant comes in at Rs 9.28 lakh.
MG Motor India has announced the full price list of the Comet EV and the top-end version is priced at below Rs 10 lakh. The starting price of the Comet was revealed some days back but now we know the full price list. The entry point is Rs 7.98 lakh while there are three variants on offer. The variants are called Pace, Play and Plush. The top-end variant is called Plush and is priced at Rs 9.98 lakh while the mid-Play variant comes in at Rs 9.28 lakh.
The Comet has a claimed range of 230km per charge while having an electric motor with 42hp and 110Nm. The battery pack size is 17.3kWh battery pack which is IP67 rated for water resistance. The MG Comet is not fast charging compliant but instead can be charged via a 3.3kw AC charger which will take up to 7 hours. In terms of features, the Comet comes with 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and the centre console.
MG is also making the buyer proposition more attractive with a promised cost of Rs 519 per month on an average run of 1000km as per Delhi electricity rates. There is also a 60 per cent buyback value after 3 years as per the original invoice value. The Comet is their most affordable car while also being its second EV offering after the premium SUV ZS. The car comes with connected car technology and even a digital key amongst other features while also getting drive modes.
Safety features include Dual Front Airbags, ABS +EBD, Front & Rear 3 pt. Seat Belts, Rear Parking Camera & Sensor, TPMS (Indirect) and ISOFIX Child Seat. These prices are introductory for the first 5000 bookings only and will expand the EV space.
