MG Cyberster Features: Electric Scissor Doors And 510PS Powertrain

The Cyberster would be retailed via the MG Select showrooms and this is a premium retail channel set to bring in higher-end cars which are separated from the standard MG range

MG will introduce the Cyberster sports car in January 2025 and one of the highlights of the sports car is the scissor doors. Normally this is seen with high-end supercars but here in the Cyberster, there would be electric scissor doors with dual sensors plus having also an anti pinch mechanism. The scissor doors open and close in just 5 seconds via a button on the centre console or even on the doors/keyfob. These scissor doors look great and give it more presence when compared to conventional sports cars.

Additional Features

Apart from this, the Cyberster also will come with a dual motor configuration as we have said earlier too. Which means there would be two electric motors with 510PS and 725Nm of torque with 110mm thickness. Other details include a rear five link independent suspension. The Cyberster would be retailed via the MG Select showrooms and this is a premium retail channel set to bring in higher-end cars which are separated from the standard MG range.

Future Car Launches

As also revealed earlier, there would be four premium car launches by 2026 including starting with the Cyberster in January 2026. This sports car won't have any rivals in India as of now at this price bracket since most sports cars are now much more expensive at above Rs 1 crore while the MG Cyberster will retail much below than that.
