That said it is about roughly half with nearly equal demand for these EVs. The other big number is that most bookings have been for the higher spec battery variant. Yes, the 79 kwh battery pack has gotten 73 percent of the total bookings which is of the top end Pack 3. In topend form the BE 6 has a price of Rs 26.90 lakh while the XEV 9e has a price of Rs 31.50 lakh.

With the 79 kwh the range is higher and so is the power. The range is 656km for the BE 6 and 682km for the XEV 9e. Both the cars have lifetime warranty for the battery pack and it is valid for two battery packs while being for the first owners. Looking at the bookings, this shows a preference for higher end models and more power plus range. The BE and XEV 9e are premium EVs while Mahindra will start deliveries by March for the topend trims.
