Citroen C3 Launching In India Soon — Here's All You Need To Know

It is not an SUV as per Citroen but is more of a crossover but length wise it sits right on with other cars being under 4m along with having a good ground clearance.

New Delhi: We will get to see the Citroen C3 in India soon with the India-spec version being revealed by next month. This would be a compact crossover of sorts and would be aimed at the popular entry level small SUV space. While it has many rivals, what marks the C3 out is its styling which is linked with the C5 luxury SUV. The C3 would be its second product in India after the C5 plus the C3 would be heavily localized for our market for a competitive price-tag.

It is not an SUV as per Citroen but is more of a crossover but length wise it sits right on with other cars being under 4m along with having a good ground clearance. The clear USP here is the styling with the typical Citroen grille, coloured accents and the funky styling.

The interior for the India spec car is yet to be revealed but we expect it to be similar to the global version but maybe with added features.

The interiors would be having a big touchscreen, digital instrument cluster and more such features. The platform that the C3 is based on is also having a long wheelbase as per its class standards which means we expect good space as well.

The C3 would be launched with petrol engines only with 1.2l turbo and non turbo engine options with both manual plus automatic being there. Pricing would be the key to the success of the C3 and we think the high localisation will enable Citroen to price it aggressively as per competition or even lower than that. Stay tuned for more on the C3 soon.
