6-Year-Old Boy Attacked By Stray Dogs In Andhra's Guntur, Video Surfaces
The young boy faced aggression from over five dogs but a passing motorist intervened promptly saving him from further harm.
A six-year-old boy was attacked by a pack of stray dogs while he was on his way to karate class in Sampat Nagar Shiva Temple area in Guntur on Saturday morning. The boy was identified as Karthikeya from Hyderabad. The young boy faced aggression from over five dogs but a passing motorist intervened promptly saving him from further harm.
According to ANI, the six-year-old boy was on his way to the class when five dogs chased and started to attack him. Immediately, a motorist who was passing on the way intervened and managed to rescue the boy. However, the kid still suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The kid is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
An official told ANI, "Karthikeya who had come to the area for holidays was unfortunately targeted by a pack of dogs near a temple premises. His concerned parents who reside in Hyderabad were informed about the incident and they are actively involved in monitoring the recovery of the boy."
Earlier this year, a five-year-old was mauled to death by street dogs near his father's workplace at a housing society in Hyderabad. A 5-year-old boy, Pradeep was mauled to death by stray dogs on February 19, 2023. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead.
Gangadhar, the boy's father and a security guard had taken him to his workplace and the dogs attacked him while he was roaming alone, news agency ANI tweeted.
